Community Bible Study

Come see what happens in people’s lives when they discover God through the study of His Word, the Bible! Our classes meet weekly during the school year. Each class participant receives a course book with a commentary and home study questions. Each week, you’ll participate in small group discussions and a large group teaching. From time to time, fellowship meals will provide special times of sharing and relationship building within the class.
Are you looking for a place to study the Bible? Join us! Our class is for women of all ages and all levels of Bible knowledge. We also have a children's program for babies-teens. Our mornings are full with devotion and singing, small group discussion and large group teaching all done in a caring community . We have groups for women and a children's program that runs during our study time.
We are finishing our study of the Psalms on April 30th and looking forward to next year! Our study next year will be the book of James and the first 22 chapters of Genesis.
Registration is open for our James and Genesis study. Online registration is easy by selecting the registration button in the upper right hand corner of your screen. Please verify the class you are registering for is the class you want to be in: in person on Thursday morning, in person Thursday evening (remote) or on-line. Registration will stay open until July 15, 2026. At that time registration will close so we can prepare for the upcoming year. Registration will reopen on our first day, on a first come, first served basis. You or your child may need to be placed on a wait list if you register the first day.
Children's classes are for infants through kindergarten age. We also have homeschool classes for elementary, middle school and high school students. Children's classes are only offered for the Thursday morning class. Details of our children's program are below.

We also have an on-line class that meets during our Thursday morning time but on zoom! If you are unable to attend in person or live too far away to join us this would be a great option. To register for our on-line class, click the registration button above and register for the "on-line, Thornton adult" class.
Are you only available in the evenings? We have an evening class! The evening class meets at North Metro Church, Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. No children's classes are offered during our evening group. To register, click the registration button above and register for the "in person ladies evening remote" class.

Next Gen Ministry
We welcome your children to experience the love of Jesus through the excellent lessons and caring teachers in our CBS Children's Ministry! All children's teachers are background checked and have CBS training.
Our babies receive the love and care you wish for them as they play, sleep and enjoy music together.
In our pre-school classes we use a variety of activities such as Bible teaching, Scripture memory work, crafts, music, games, and movement to provide a nurturing environment where children can learn about Jesus' wonderful love for them. We also come alongside parents as they teach and train their children to live out God’s truths in their lives.
Our homeschool classes are for children first grade through high school. These classes study the same book the women study but with curriculum written specifically for them. Our goals for the homeschool classes are: to begin the discipleship process of becoming more like Jesus, to increase their knowledge and understanding of the Bible, practice in daily study of the scriptures, to grow in their faith, practice prayer and to become a caring member of their CBS classroom. Our homeschool children love their CBS classes and look forward to meeting your children!
